Last year, the COSMO Science Forum was opened in Dresden’s Kulturpalast. Since November, a series of research projects on the topic of “Urban Mobility” have been presented there in a first focal exhibition. The complex topic is being examined from as many different perspectives as possible and projects on autonomous driving, the future of cycling and (traffic) planning for sustainable urban districts are being exhibited.
At the end of the exhibition, a panel discussion will take place in which concrete theses for the future of mobility in Dresden will be developed. This event will take place on Thursday, 09 February 2023 at 7 pm in the COSMO Science Forum and will last approximately 90 minutes. A short impulse by all speakers (approx. 5 minutes) will be followed by a discussion on stage before the audience joins in the discussion.
The following persons will be guests as speakers:
- Prof. Angela Mensing-de Jong, Chair of Urban Planning
- Frank Fiedler, Office for Urban Planning and Mobility Dresden
- Dr. Michael Vogt, Director of the Dresden Transport Museum
- Marie Neumann, co-founder Stadt:wirken
