Freshmen hut weekend

You’ve just moved out of home and are starting your studies, you’ve come to Dresden especially for your Master’s degree or you’ve landed here at the “Friedrich List” Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences for your semester abroad and now you want to meet new people who are also studying at the Faculty?

Then keep the weekend from 20 to 22 October free. We from the student council will take you to Heeselicht (near Stolpen, Saxony) to a self-catering hut and spend a nice and exciting weekend there.

We have planned workshops for you, with which we want to give you some tips and tricks for starting your studies and for student life in Dresden. But we also want you to get to know each other.

There will be experienced people from the student council who are just waiting to answer your questions that have come up in the first few weeks or to give you their tips for your future studies.

The participation fee is 35€, which includes two nights’ accommodation, food, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. You can either bring your own bedding (sleeping bag) or rent it on site for 5€.

From and to the hut we’ll get by public transport, please ensure on bringing your semesterticket.

Meetingpoint on Friday October 20th is at Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station) in the Kuppelhalle (next to Burger King) at 17:45. On Sunday October 22nd you’ll be back in Dresden at 13:00.
